It's been interesting to watch the evolution of Monoprice in the home theater market following the introduction of its Monolith product line. Now the Monolith (ATI) 7.2.6 Pre-pro! 7 ground plane speakers, 6 ceiling Atmos speakers, 2 subs. Wasn’t there a thread where I said if only Monoprice could make a pre-pro? And I recall s9me people were saying that’s ever going to happen? $4K is pricey, but not compared to the $5K Emotiva or $10K DataSAT/ATI. To me this is almost the perfect One very nice feature the Storm Audio pre/pro has, that I wish the HTP-1 did, is the ability to run multiple active left, center, and right speakers.

I know this is a monoprice htp 1 thread but after reading to the end i noticed that the xmc 2 aeems to get bashed an awful lot. I went from an arcam av860 to the xmc 2 a few months ago and i too had heard all about the various bugs the xmc 2 had been having. One very nice feature the Storm Audio pre/pro has, that I wish the HTP-1 did, is the ability to run multiple active left, center, and right speakers.
